Wow, it's been a while.  I seem to disappear for long periods of time, but I did have a personal issue I had to work on.  The person I mentioned in the last post had given me plenty of grief in the months after that post, but we're now talking and friends again.  I pray it stays this way. I do have a boyfriend now.  We actually met this time last year through a blog we both follow and became official right before Christmas.  The lady who ran that blog posted an email he sent her, about the difficulty of finding a wife, especially for someone as socially awkward as him, and I sent my own email offering to extend my hand in friendship, knowing

So much has happened since I last posted here.  A lot of growing up happened.  New friendships formed and suddenly broken.  New jobs (I have three now), and new projects.  I'm still diligently working on my Slayers story, which has slowed dramatically due to the recent circumstances.  I thought life was hard when I was unemployed and isolated last year, but this past year has been a year of heartache. I had hoped to post a bunch of new things.  They will still eventually go up, now that I'm at a point that it'll be one of the few things to take my mind off of what's happened.  I didn't get to go to A-Kon this year, and I won't be able to go

Yup, I take too long on everything, don't I?  Including getting a job, it seems.  I'm getting down to the wire here, and I don't know how much longer I'll be able to keep running on fumes.  What's even worse, I'm getting the creative itch and want to draw SO BAD!  I told myself not to start on any non-sewing projects until I get a steady job.  I didn't realize I would be coming back here months later, still unemployed.  I wanted to get revisions on my current Slayers fanfic up too, but I also told myself not to do that until I get a job.  I'm only writing new chapters, and even that has slowed down to a lethal crawl due to being sick for almo
